There is such a glut of shows on television these days that a serial must have true mettle to sustain the interest of the short attention span of audiences, isn’t it? Few shows have even reached the 10 season mark and those that did, did so amongst much fanfare. Even fewer crossed the magic number 10 and continue to prosper. One such is South Park. South Park is an animated show for adults! How’s that for a change? The program is basically a comic spoof on adult behavior patterns. We adults tend to wear masks and assume they keep us safe.
Little do we realize that masks do little to hide our true nature! South Park Episodes bring that patent fact home to viewers, through the incisiveness and clarity that only children can have. Four fourth graders, who make up the main characters of the story, do the job perfectly. They make us laugh and they make us cry.
